Hello!! I am Laurie Pizzo, originally from Chicago Illinois and have lived in Hernando County for over 22 years.  I am married to my best friend John.  We have four wonderful furry felines - Pepper, Molly, Simba and Morris.  We love to travel, canoe, bike and have a budding butterfly garden.

I am very active in not only locally but at the State level which includes serving on the State and Local Taxation Subcommitte for Public Policy and the REALTORS Political Involvement Committee for the Florida Association of REALTORS.  I also serve as a Director for the Hernando County Association of REALTORS and on the Government Affairs Committees for both the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and the Hernando County Association of REALTORS.  My community involvement also includes The American Cancer Society,  Community Advisory Council for HCA Oak Hill Hospital and Helping Hands at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  I was appointed by Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum to serve as Commissioner to the Florida Commission on the Status of Women. 

My professional associations include the National Association of REALTORS, the Florida Association of REALTORS, the Hernando County Association of REALTORS, and the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce.

I have been in sales and marketing for all of my adult life and when it comes to real estate, I truly have a passion for helping find what my clients are looking for. Prior to general real estate with Century 21 Alliance Realty, I sold homes for one of the largest builders in the United States...Lennar/US Homes. I was able to transform my knowledge from the new home sales into the general home sales quite successfully and since entering this field has been a  Multi-Million Dollar Producer and also achieved the coveted Ruby level in the CENTURY21® Masters Program.
